{"id":67,"date":"2008-05-10T22:15:12","date_gmt":"2008-05-11T06:15:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/niasomoves.com\/Rachaelsblog\/?p=67"},"modified":"2008-06-26T17:20:37","modified_gmt":"2008-06-27T01:20:37","slug":"back-home-embryonic","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/synergy-pt.net\/niablog\/back-home-embryonic\/","title":{"rendered":"Back Home: Embryonic"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>The sensation of repeating my Blue Belt training is totally different from the sensation of repeating my White Belt.\u00a0 In retrospect, this makes perfect sense, but I was surprised.<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div>The sensation of repeating White Belt felt like going back to marvel at the foundation of Nia, to see more details, to replace some old pieces, add some new tiles to the mosaic, and clean and love and polish the rest.\u00a0 I brought nine years of life and integration since my first White Belt, so the foundation could now hold more <span style=\"color:black\">layers and reflect more light and at new angles.<\/span><\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<p><span style=\"color:black\">I expected the same from Blue Belt.\u00a0 But Blue Belt is not the foundation of Nia like White Belt is.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>Blue Belt is about communication, relationship and intimacy.\u00a0 All week long I felt like a lens was at the wrong angle, so that I was not receiving quite as clearly as I might, even though I trusted that all the light was entering.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:black\">At the end of the final day, after we received our certificates and our blue belts, I realized why.\u00a0 I\u2019m <\/span><span style=\"color: #0000ff; \"><a href=\"http:\/\/synergy-pt.net\/niablog\/2008\/05\/05\/developmental-anatomy\/\" target=\"_blank\">Embryonic<\/a><\/span><span style=\"color:black\">.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:black\">I have never been a Brown Belt doing the Blue Belt before.\u00a0 I have never been in this relationship with Blue Belt, or with Nia before.\u00a0 I\u2019ve never been in this body before.\u00a0 It\u2019s all new.\u00a0 I\u2019m wide-eyed. \u00a0I\u2019m an immigrant in a new land, staring, wondering, disoriented. \u00a0\u201cWhat\u2019s that?\u00a0 And what\u2019s <em>that<\/em><\/span><span style=\"color:black\">?\u201d\u00a0 I\u2019m a newborn baby.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>I\u2019m not sure what to do with all that I\u2019m sensing or how to respond to things.\u00a0 I don\u2019t know the language spoken here.\u00a0 My nervous system is new and very sensitive.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:black\">The sensation of being home is new, the sensation of teaching Nia is new, the sensation of being in relationship with myself, with my husband, with my house and with everything is new.
